101-crore lawsuit on Rajinikanth movie

The release of Kaala doesn’t seem to be on a smooth tide. Jawahar Nadar, son of 'godfather' Thiraviam Nadar, has made a 101-crore defamation suit against Rajinikanth. Thiraviam Nadar is said to have fought for the under privileged in Dharavi- the slum religion of Mumbai. He claims that the role played by Rajani in KAALAA is inspired by his father inspired. He fears that the movie could smear the image of his father as well as the Nadar community.
