Sigma team recently met the master filmmaker and showed him the trailer. Rajamouli complimented debutant writer-director Jason Sanjay for his filmmaking, particularly the visual presentation and the way he blended heist drama, Gen Z action and emotion.

“The first impression I am getting from the trailer is the movie is a complete fun ride. I am impressed by the way Jason Sanjay brought in so many known faces like Sandeep Kishan, Faria Abdullah, Raju Sundaram and Sampath for this film and delivered such an output,” he said.

Rajamouli also praised Sandeep Kishan's casting, saying he looked tailor-made for the role, and highlighted the emotional impact suggested by the trailer. He added that he would watch the film in theatres and urged audiences to do the same.

Jason Sanjay, son of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay, is making his directorial debut with Sigma. Produced by Lyca Productions, the heist action entertainer is scheduled to release on October 2, with Mythri Distributions handling its release in the Telugu states.
