In heartbreaking news for the Telugu film fraternity and Jana Sena supporters, Niranjan, the 17-year-old fan of Pawan Kalyan who had won hearts with his inspiring spirit despite battling Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), has passed away. The news has left fans across social media mourning the loss of the teenager, whose emotional meeting with the actor-politician just a few weeks ago had touched millions.

Niranjan, a resident of Hanumakonda in Telangana, had been bedridden for years due to the rare genetic disorder. His long-cherished dream was to meet Pawan Kalyan. After learning about the boy's wish through Jana Sena leaders, the Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister personally visited Niranjan at his home in June, spending quality time with him and his family.

During the emotional interaction, Pawan Kalyan hugged Niranjan, spoke to his parents about his treatment, donated ₹1 lakh towards medical expenses, presented Tirumala prasadam and sacred akshatalu, and even promised to gift him a puppy after learning about his wish. He also assured support for the family's livelihood by helping them set up a food stall. The visit was widely praised as one of the actor's most heartfelt gestures.

Niranjan's passing has triggered an outpouring of grief from Pawan Kalyan fans, Jana Sena workers and netizens, who are sharing memories and visuals from that unforgettable meeting. Producer Bandla Ganesh also met the family after Pawan Kalyan met Niranjan and donated Rs.5 lakhs for his recovery. He expressed his condolences to the grief stricken family and prayed for their strength.
