Jayasudha Husband Commits Suicide

Telugu veteran actress Jayasudha’s husband Nitin Dwarkadas Kapoor committed suicide by jumping off the terrace at his sister's flat on JP Road in Andheri West in Mumbai, where he'd been living for some time. Nitin Kapoor is the cousin of Bollywood actor Jeetendra. He married Jayasudha in 1985. He was survived by wife Jayasudha and two sons – Nihar and Shreyan - who are also into films.

There are also rumours stating that 58 years old Nitin had been unemployed for 18 years and for the past one-and-a-half years had been suffering from depression. For a month, he had been undergoing treatment in the psychiatric department at Kokilaben Hospital.

A case of accidental death report has been registered with the Versova police station. The reason for Kapoor taking the extreme step was not yet known.
