Nithiin is set to surprise audiences with a refreshing romantic entertainer, Alias Rukmini, presented by Nani. The makers have now unveiled his ten-years-younger look as Krishna, creating considerable curiosity around the character and the film.
A special Diwali video captures director Murali Kanth Devasoth speaking to leading lady Aafia Sayed about how Krishna was before meeting her. Nithiin then makes an entry in a completely transformed avatar, sporting a slim pencil moustache and a youthful boy-next-door appearance.
The transformation is particularly striking, with Nithiin reportedly losing considerable weight to get into the younger version of Krishna. His effortless transition into the look has become a talking point, with Aafia herself appearing visibly surprised in the video.

The film introduces Krishna as a writer who pens edgy novels under the female pseudonym Rukmini. Aafia plays Rukmini, a schoolteacher with a strict yet playful personality, setting up an intriguing premise for this unusual romantic story.
