Rising star Mamitha Baiju recently opened up about the emotional toll of the Jana Nayagan movie leak, calling the incident deeply painful. The highly anticipated political action thriller is notably Thalapathy Vijay’s final film before his full-time entry into politics. Its shocking to see that full movie leaked online earlier this month and it arrived at a highly sensitive time, directly coinciding with Vijay’s intense state-wide campaign for the upcoming Tamil Nadu assembly elections under his party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam.  

Addressing the unfortunate situation, Mamitha stressed that the immense hard work and dreams of an entire team should never go to waste. Initially brushing off the leak as just another baseless social media rumor, the reality finally sank in when her brother broke the news, leaving her completely disheartened.

Despite this major setback, the actress remains highly enthusiastic about her upcoming projects, particularly her role in Vishwanath And Sons. When director Venky Atluri narrated the script, she was instantly drawn to the fresh plot, which prominently features an age gap as its central theme. Mamitha realized it was a rare character opportunity that she simply could not pass up.
