Mahesh Babu has finally gone clean-shaven after maintaining his beard for the shoot of SS Rajamouli’s Varanasi. The actor was spotted at the airport in a completely new look while heading out with his wife Namrata Shirodkar for a holiday. During the paparazzi interaction, Mahesh even signed to the person filming that he had no beard.

The new look has now added further confirmation to the reports that Mahesh has wrapped up his shooting for Varanasi. Reports surfaced earlier that the actor completed his portion on September 22, and his latest airport appearance has only strengthened those reports. Mahesh had been maintaining the rugged bearded look throughout the shoot, making the clean-shaven appearance significant.

With Mahesh’s portions said to be wrapped, the actor has now taken a break and headed out on a holiday with Namrata. Meanwhile, the Varanasi shoot is expected to continue with the remaining portions, as SS Rajamouli gears up to take the ambitious project forward. Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Prithviraj Sukumaran are playing prominent roles in the film. Varanasi is releasing on 7th April 2027, worldwide.
