Kamal Hassan as Robo Under Shankar

on Feb 24, 2012

Kamal Haasan in Robo: Universal Hero Kamal Hassan was the first choice for sensational director Shankar for his blockbuster hit film Robo. The director has filmed few scenes of Robo on Kamal Haasan and Bollywood actress Preity Zinta, the heroine, in 1998 itself – but the film was shelved following some creative differences between Kamal and Shankar. Twelve years later, the same movie was made with Super Star Rajinikanth and Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai in the lead roles . Robo released on October 1, 2010 and became one of the costliest films ever made on Indian Cinema.
