Mani Ratnam Kadali is Disappointing

One of the finest film makers in India, Mani Ratnam has come up with 'Kadali' (Kadal). The film was released yesterday in Tamil and Telugu versions. Initial reports says that the movie lovers were disappointed with the movie. No one can comment on the directorial skill of Mani Ratnam but 'Kadali' has got absolutely no fun moments in the film. Even the lover track between the lead pair was not appealing. But 'Kadali' is very rich in technical aspects. Just like in every Mani Ratnam film, Cinematography was brilliant and Rajeev Menon should be appreciated for that. AR Rahman's music and BGM were good. Arjun and Aravind Swamy have delivered splendid performances and Gautham Karthik made a decent debut. Though the debutante heroine Thulasi Nair has nothing much to do in the film, she was ok. Movie lovers felt that Kadali can be watched only for its rich technical values.
