Coolie starring Superstar Rajinikanth, King Nagarjuna, Upendra, Aamir Khan, Satyaraj, Soubin Shahir, Shruti Haasan has been making all the headlines. The movie is set for a huge release on 14th August and director Lokesh Kanagaraj interacted about the film with a famous journalist Anupama Chopra.
He stated that each star has a high moment in the film and no one has asked him to change the script. He stated that they have locked the script before going to shoot and gave a reading to each one of them. Only after everyone expressed their readiness, he took it to sets.
Lokesh further revealed that he was shocked that Rajinikanth okayed it in first narration. He stated that Rajinikanth accepted to be part of the film by the end of first half narration. But he remarked that it was hard to convince Nagarjuna to play an antagonist role. He stated that Nag took 4 months and 7 narrations to accept.
He stated that he needed to convince Nagarjuna for long as it was the first time, the big star is playing an antagonist. He further remarked that he wouldn't have approached so many stars if they did not have the necessity in the script. Well, he further said that Nag had maximum fun and shocked himself on sets.
Well, Anirudh Ravichander has already set the ball rolling with Chikitu Vibe, Monica songs along with Coolie Powerhouse glimpse. Lokesh has revealed that he is not sure about Rs.1000 crores box office collection but he stated that it will give money's worth entertainment to audiences for their ticket price.
