Shriya Saran has sparked fresh speculation about Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Dharman after sharing a picture with the Superstar on her Instagram page. The actress posted the photo with the caption, “When you meet the legend, Photo toh banta hai”, clearly expressing her excitement at meeting one of Indian cinema’s biggest icons. However, the photograph has gained extra attention because Rajinikanth is seen in his Dharman look, leading to speculation that Shriya could be associated with the film.
The possibility of a reunion has naturally caught fans’ attention because Shriya and Rajinikanth previously shared the screen in Shankar’s Sivaji: The Boss. Released in 2007, the blockbuster featured the two as the lead pair and remains one of Rajinikanth’s memorable collaborations. Interestingly, Shriya recently spoke about working with Rajinikanth and recalled being completely starstruck before their first meeting, even fearing that she would freeze during their first rehearsal.
Meanwhile, Dharman, directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, is currently progressing with its third schedule in Hyderabad. Rajinikanth plays a doctor in the action entertainer, with Simran and Raashii Khanna also part of the cast, while Ram Pothineni has reportedly joined the project as the antagonist.
For now, there is no official confirmation that Shriya Saran is part of Dharman. Her caption itself does not suggest anything about the film, but Rajinikanth’s Dharman appearance in the photograph has inevitably given the reunion rumours fresh fuel.
