HIT 3 sparks Vijay Deverakonda vs Nani debate

Vijay Deverakonda has emerged as a star with Pelli Choopulu, Arjun Reddy and Geetha Govindam. While he had big plans to become a Pan-India star, he has been seen as a big competition to Nani. Both Nani and VD fans have made it a habit to fight on social media about who is bigger among mid-range stars.
Vijay has been facing disasters and flops at the box office and he is looking for a blockbuster with Kingdom after an outright disaster like The Family Man. On the other hand, Nani is able to deliver successes like Dasara, Hi Nanna, Saripodha Sanivaaram and now, HIT 3. The recent release has crossed 101 crores gross WW in 4 days.
Nani has been able to consistently maintain his market for 15 years and he is looking to expand it with action entertainers, these days. His next with Srikanth Odela, The Paradise, is a big step forward from him in terms of scale, action and even budget. Vijay Deverakonda took such steps already with Liger but failed.
He is expecting Kingdom to become a huge hit to announce his name all over. But the fans of both actors are now fighting once again. While Nani fans are delighted with HIT 3 collections, VD fans are calling them as PR based stunts and not real.
This fan war has been converted into a debate to find out who is better and who needs to be treated as bigger star. While they both are Telugu heroes and have good market, marketing talent, their fans should not be encouraging such unhealthy debates but be happy that HIT 3 success gives Kingdom hope that audiences will come to theatres.
