The Drishyam franchise is not ending with its third chapter. Producer Antony Perumbavoor has confirmed that another instalment, Drishyam 4, is definitely in the works, giving fans of Mohanlal’s iconic Georgekutty yet another reason to look forward to the franchise.

The announcement comes just months after Drishyam 3 continued the story of Georgekutty and his family. The third film itself became a major success, further strengthening the case for another chapter in the popular thriller franchise. Perumbavoor made the confirmation at a recent event, stating that a fourth Drishyam would happen.

However, there is an interesting question surrounding the project. While the producer has confirmed Drishyam 4, Mohanlal and director Jeethu Joseph have not separately made an official announcement confirming their involvement in the fourth film. Mohanlal had earlier spoken about the possibility of continuing Georgekutty’s story, while Jeethu has maintained that he would only pursue another sequel if he found a story strong enough to justify it.
