Nandamuri Balakrishna is stepping into a gangster-action world with his upcoming film Dada, directed by Gopichand Malineni. After creating buzz with the earlier birthday glimpse, the makers have now unveiled the title along with a high-energy glimpse.

The title Dada immediately sets the tone, and the glimpse makes it clear that Balakrishna is playing a character built around attitude, aggression and mass appeal. His younger look, Hindi dialogues and trademark dialogue delivery give the character a different flavour, while the action blocks suggest a bloody gangster backdrop.

Gopichand Malineni, who previously teamed up with Balakrishna for Veera Simha Reddy, appears to be going bigger with this outing. The visuals have a darker texture, with Balakrishna's body language and screen presence taking centre stage.

S Thaman's background score adds considerable punch, particularly the Dada title track built around the "Nayak Nahin, Kal Nayak" hook. It fits the character's larger-than-life attitude and gives the glimpse its theatrical high.

Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru, the film stars Manchu Manoj and Kajal Aggarwal in prominent roles. Dada is slated for a worldwide release on December 24, targeting the Christmas holiday season.
