The much-discussed release-date confusion around Chiranjeevi’s Kaaka and Vishwambhara for Sankranthi 2027 now seems to have been sorted out. Kaaka has officially confirmed January 13, 2027 as its theatrical release date, making it Chiranjeevi’s Sankranthi release for next year. The makers announced the date today, putting an end to the recent speculation over whether the film would move out of the festival season.
KVN Productions have released the photo of Chiranjeevi speaking with K Venkata Narayana and Vikram Reddy of UV Creations. Finally, it looks like the last minute confusion has been cleared by the Megastar himself with great discussion.

This also indicates that Vishwambhara could be looking at a different release window. The socio-fantasy film has been delayed for two years, mainly due to its extensive VFX work and other production-related factors. There have been reports that the team is considering Summer 2027, as Sankranti gone out of hands.
Directed by Bobby Kolli, Kaaka is being produced by KVN Productions and stars Chiranjeevi in the lead along with Anaswara Rajan, Nivetha Pethuraj, Sunil and Getup Srinu. The film is currently progressing with its shooting schedules as the team works towards the January release. With Kaaka now firmly occupying the January 13 slot, attention shifts to Vishwambhara and when the Vassishta directorial will finally make its way to theatres.
