Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju’s Bethlehem Kudumba Unit is now heading to OTT after enjoying a blockbuster theatrical run. The Girish A.D. directorial, which released on August 21, has emerged as one of the biggest Malayalam hits of the year and is reportedly nearing the Rs.330 crore mark worldwide.
The film will make its digital premiere on JioHotstar on October 2, 2026. The platform has officially confirmed the streaming date, with the film set to be available in Malayalam along with Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada versions.
Bethlehem Kudumba Unit revolves around Justin, played by Nivin Pauly, an unmarried man whose life takes a turn after Ashley, played by Mamitha Baiju, moves in next door. Their relationship forms the central thread of the film, which blends romance, family emotions and comedy. The film also stars Sangeeth Prathap, Suresh Krishna, Vinay Forrt, Srinda and Shyam Mohan in important roles.
Directed by Girish A.D., the film is produced by Dileesh Pothan, Fahadh Faasil and Syam Pushkaran under Bhavana Studios. Vishnu Vijay composed the music, while Ajmal Sabu handled the cinematography and Akash Joseph Varghese took care of the editing. After its strong theatrical run, Bethlehem Kudumba Unit is now set to reach a much wider audience on OTT.
