Still, Ajay Devgn's Hindi version, where he plays Vijay Salgaonkar, has become the biggest blockbuster for the actor till that time in his career. Now, he is starting the third part even before Malayalam version announces the shoot starting date.

From 2nd October 2025, Drishyam 3 Hindi version is going to start shooting. While Mohanlal stated that Jeethu Joseph and he have been working on the script and will start shoot as sonn as possible, probably, by the end of this year, it seems like Ajay is ready to take it on floors before the original.

Already, he is building on his horror franchise inspired by Shaitaan success. His wife Kajol played leading role in MAA and his other franchise film Raid 2, did achieve moderate success. So, he is looking to take forward the franchises even faster, says bollywood media.
