Director Anil Ravipudi has responded to the rumours surrounding his reported collaboration with Superstar Mahesh Babu, making it clear that the news currently doing the rounds is not true. Reacting to the speculation, Anil Ravipudi issued a statement about his equation with Mahesh Babu and categorically dismissed the reports. 

He wrote, “Superstar Mahesh Babu garu has always been a dear person to me. I have immense love and respect for him, always. Whatever news is currently circulating is completely false and untrue. Please don’t believe or spread such rumours.”

Anil and Mahesh Babu previously worked together on Sarileru Neekevvaru, which became one of the major commercial successes of 2020. The director has also spoken positively about collaborating with Mahesh again in the past, with reports of a possible reunion continuing to surface periodically.

Anil Ravipudi is busy shooting for his next film, January 12 Vidudala with Venkatesh, Nandamuri Kalyanram, Keerthy Suresh, Krithi Shetty. The movie is releasing for Sankranti. On the other hand, Mahesh is busy shooting for SS Rajamouli's Varanasi, scheduled for 7th April 2027 release.
