Ajith Kumar and Mohanlal to share screen?

on Jun 19, 2025

Ajith Kumar is the biggest star from Tamil Cinema but he did not share screen with other stars that much. He did work with Arjun for Mankatha, Vidaamuyarchi, Shah Rukh Khan in Asoka and Suresh Gopi for his Dheena. He did not had been part of many multi-starrers but current Pan-India trend is pushing many to be a part of one.

So, the media reports suggest that Ajith Kumar could be sharing screen with Mohanlal. According to the reports, Adhik Ravichandran, who made Good Bad Ugly with Ajith will direct his next movie, AK64 as well. For this film, the director is in talks with Mohanlal to star in an important role.

If the reports to be believed, Ajith liked the storyline and accepted to share screen with a big star, it seems. While Good Bad Ugly became a successful film, Adhik did not really give a path-breaking film but a celebration of stardom of Ajith. Now, he has plans to come with better content, say the reports.

Hence, he is planning such an ensemble of two big stars. Currently, the discussions are going on and soon, we might see confirmation about the project, once everything is offically signed and sealed.
