Updated : Oct 29, 2025

Baahubali The Epic is releasing on 31st October, with the makers worked exstensively hard to make the two big films - Baahubali 1: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, into one for re-release on tenth anniversary. Director SS Rajamouli, Prabhas and Rana Daggubati have sit down to discuss about this version.

Rajamouli revealed that he edited out Tamannaah Bhatia's Avantika character and Sivudu love story, even the Pacchabottesina Song. Later, Irrukupo song and even Kanna Nidurinchara song from the second part. Without revealing all other scenes, Rajamouli stated that the final runtime is 3 hours 43 minutes.

Rana funnily predicted as there are two Baaubalis, one Baahubali story will be edited out. Prabhas asked if Rajamouli edited out portions of Amarendra Baahubali, as he loved that character and portion. Finally, Rajamouli revealed that he trimmed out War portions to keep the focus on story.

Well, Baahubali has become a cult classic in Indian Cinema and there is no Indian movie lover who did not watch the movie. So, editing almost two hours of the film made Rajamouli sad but he wanted to achieve this version and hence, he created this after working on it for a year.
