Megastar Chiranjeevi’s long awaited film Acharya is struggling to induce eagerness in the audience as the advance sales in all major regions are surprisingly low.

Directed by Koratala Siva, who has an enviable track record making mass openings with hits like Srimanthudu, Janatha Garage and Bharat Ane Nenu, Acharya is supposed to take a strong start due to the hype and its star studded cast. However, with just two days to go for the release, the response appears to be quite lukewarm.

It looks like the trailer and other promotional content have failed to generate the required buzz on the film. Also, the other reason might be that audience have already lapped up two recent blockbusters RRR and KGF 2 which released a few weeks ago and they are not keen to watch another biggie in theatres.
