The buzz about Rajinikanth's new movie Thalaivar 169 is growing, with more names circulating around concerning the film's cast. Priyanka Mohan's name was the first to appear online; the actress is rumoured to be playing the Superstar's daughter, however no official confirmation has been made by the producers.

Anirudh has been hired to compose music for the film, which will be directed by Nelson Dilipkumar.

According to the most recent reports, Ramya Krishnan will play a villain role in the film. Needless to say, the news has peaked the interest of moviegoers. Ramya's legendary role Neelambari in Rajini-KS Ravikumar's Padayappa is one of Kollywood's best antagonists.

The untitled film is set to go into production after June. Following the mixed reaction to Nelson's Beast, there were rumours that he would be dropped from the project, but all of that proved to be false when he personally confirmed his inclusion in the film.
