Updated : Sep 3, 2025

SS Rajamouli has been keeping Telugu audiences waiting about the announcement of his upcoming biggie, SSMB29. The movie shoot has started secretly and it is currently going on in Kenya. The minister of Kenya has specially felicitated the director and praised him for bringing such a global project to their nation.

But the latest reports state that SS Rajamouli is no mood to continue the franchises trend. He is the first one to pick it up with Baahubali, making it a two-part series but he wants to put an end to it with SSMB29, it seems. He might think about continuing the story but for now, he has no plans to make it into a franchise.

Even he is not looking to continue RRR into a franchise and he is planning a different film after SSMB29 that would be in entirely different genre from all his previous films. So, he is looking to end the trend even asked Mahesh Babu for a full length schedule to finish the movie at one go, it seems.

Priyanka Chopra-Jonas is making her debut in Telugu with the movie and she is happy with the kind of global level narrative that the movie offers, it seems. In November, the movie announcement video will be sensational for Indian and Global Cinema, it seems. Let's wait and watch for it.
