Peddi and The Paradise clash averted and both postponed?
on Jan 24, 2026

Ram Charan's Pan-India Magnum Opus Peddi also starring Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar directed by Buchi Babu Sana has created huge frenzy across the world with Chikiri Chikiri song and the first glimpse. The movie has been locked for 27th March 2026 release date but the rumour mills are rampant that it has been postponed.
Sources state that the makers do not want to rush the most important final schedules, especially, after a global chartbuster like Chikiri Chikiri, they are cautious that expectations would've sky rocketed. Recent reports did reveal that first half edit has been locked and AR Rahman is working on background music, but they also claim that makers feel ample time needs to be given for post production works.
On the other hand, even Nani's The Paradise has been postponed say sources from 26th March. The movie is currently shooting at a leisurely pace as Nani asked director Srikanth Odela to re-work on some portions of script, say inside reports. Even producer Sudhakar Cherukuri in recent interviews, did not really show confidence in movie releasing on-time.
Distributors and exhibitors who were worried about two big films clashing at the box office are breathing a sigh of relief with newpostponement reports doing rounds. Some sources claim that Peddi is eyeing a May date while The Paradise, going for June or July date. Speculations also point at both wanting to avoid clash with Dhurandhar 2, which could create box office tsunami on the back of 1300 crore gross All-Time Blockbuster success, releasing on 19th March.
If the reports are true, Pawan Kalyan's Ustaad Bhagat Singh could release for Peddi date. Well, TFI insider reports are rampant about this postponement but makers are tight-lipped about it. They might discuss with OTT platforms before making final announcements about the factors leading to it. Let's wait and watch.
