Trivikram Srinivas is regarded as OG among today's generation directors, with regards to immaculate hold on family audiences. But Anil Ravipudi has become latest favorite of family audiences with F2, Sankrantiki Vasthunnam and Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu becoming huge blockbusters. He is on a huge success streak like no one as SV and MSG have become back-to-back Regional Industry Hits releasing for Sankranti. Seems like he might have to bow away for OG, this time around.
Industry gossip is that Trivikram Srinivas could be looking to release his next with Venkatesh for Sankranti 2027. His film, Adarsha Kutumbam aka AK 47, is going under reshoots as the recent release Blast Zone has similar storyline. AK 47 story also talks about a family of a Don or assassins hiding from system being forced to go against a local leader.
In Blast Zone, Arjun and his family are martial arts experts and they do not belong to any assassin or Don family. As a family hiding from system angle is explored by Venkatesh in Drishyam, Trivikram added few more elements that give an ode to such a line but steer away from it. Some reports even suggest that Trivikram took inspiration from same web series as Blast makers did.
As Blast/ Blast Zone became a hit in Tamil, Trivikram has decided to change the script and few key scenes, thereby, going for reshoots. Hence, the makers have to look at Sankranti release going away from alleged Diwali release. Interestingly, Blast is released in Telugu as Blast Zone by Sithara Entertainments sister concern of Haarika & Haasine Creations, the peramnent collaborator of Trivikram.
If the subject lines match so much that they have to reshoot why would they release it themselves? We cannot say. Anyways, Anil Ravipudi announced his next film with Venkatesh and Nandamuri Kalyanram for Sankranti 2027. Until, Venkatesh finishes Trivikram film, he will not be able to start shooting. Even if storyline similarity is not true, Anil will be delayed to finish film on time for Sankranti release, as Trivikram still did not complete AK 47. Let's wait and see.
