Nagarjuna could be set for another interesting Tamil collaboration after Coolie, with reports suggesting that he is in talks to play a key role alongside Suriya in the latter’s upcoming film with director H. Vinoth. The project, tentatively referred to as Suriya 49, is currently in the pre-production stage, and there is no official confirmation yet on Nagarjuna’s involvement.
The timing of the discussions is particularly interesting because Nagarjuna is currently completely focused on King 100, his landmark 100th film. The Ra Karthik directorial was officially titled King 100 recently and is slated for a December 24, 2026 release, making the film the actor’s biggest priority at present.
Nagarjuna is understood to be open to hearing interesting scripts, but whether he actually becomes part of H. Vinoth’s film will be decided only after King 100 releases. Interestingly, if the discussions materialise, Nagarjuna and Suriya would be sharing screen space after Nag’s well-received appearance in Coolie. H. Vinoth is said to be preparing another action-oriented entertainer, and a major star like Nagarjuna in a crucial role could add considerable weight to the project. For now, though, it remains a case of talks in progress rather than a confirmed casting.
