Shah Rukh Khan agreed to be part of Superstar Rajinikanth's Jailer 2 but he pulled out due to date issues and his commitment to appear for the first time in a particular salt and pepper look in his next, King. Now, the industry gossip is that makers of Jailer 2 are discussing with Hrithik Roshan about the same role. 

As a senior officer when Rajini is in a tough situation, this character will help and take story forward, it seems. Hence, Nelson Dilipkumar, the writer-director, is very particular about a big star acting in it. Even though it might delay the release further, he wants to complete shoot with a big star and cannot remove the portion at any cost, according to the reports. 

Before Hrithik Roshan, the makers considered Pawan Kalyan, but he declined as he is busy with politics and duties as Deputy CM of AP. Currently, talks are going on with Roshan and soon, they are planning to complete shoot for his portions and release the film by 3rd September. 

Already, Mohanlal and Shiva Rajkumar, who appeared in Jailer have shot for their portions along with Vijay Sethupathi. Now, they are waiting for a big star to accept and conclude the shoot. After completing edit and post production of Jailer 2, Nelson will take a 6-month break and start working on KHXRK movie.
