Although Akkineni Nagarjuna made a decent debut with Vikram, his subsequent movies 'Captain Nagarjuna' and 'Aranya Kanda' were failures at the box office. However, Nag came back and struck a chord with his 4th movie 'Majnu', which established as a hero.
