Fatherhood has brought a new perspective to Vicky Kaushal’s life, and the actor recently shared an emotional glimpse into how he is adjusting to this phase with wife Katrina Kaif and their son, Vihaan.

Opening up about becoming a parent, Vicky revealed that stepping back into work after spending six weeks with his newborn was far more difficult than he expected. The actor admitted that returning to shoots made him experience what he described as “dad guilt,” especially when he had to stay away from home for days.

Recalling one such moment, Vicky shared that during a work schedule nearly 230 km away from home, he suddenly felt overwhelmed thinking about leaving Katrina and baby Vihaan behind. He said his heart sank as he realized how much life had changed after becoming a father.

Vicky also credited Katrina for helping him navigate this new journey. According to him, they are learning parenthood together and supporting each other through the emotional and practical changes that come with raising a child.

The actor added that becoming a parent has made him appreciate his own parents even more, giving him a deeper understanding of their love and sacrifices.
