Sivakarthikeyan has officially commenced shooting for his upcoming film, Seyon. The project marks the actor's reunion with producer Kamal Haasan following the commercial success of Amaran. Directed by Sivakumar Murugesan, the film is billed as a rural action drama. This collaboration comes after the hit film Thaai Kizhavi, which Sivakarthikeyan notably produced for Murugesan.

The makers released a poster today to announce the start of production, revealing a drastic change in Sivakarthikeyan's appearance. He sports a heavily rugged look with a thick beard and an intense expression. A significant portion of his face is obscured by burning flames in the poster, suggesting a gritty and serious character tied to the film's rural setting.

Seyon is expected to have a highly focused production environment. According to industry reports, the team has structured a long, continuous shooting schedule. The plan is to complete the filming from start to finish without taking any major breaks. With music composed by Santhosh Narayanan and backing by Raaj Kamal Films International, the film has now moved into active production.
