Akshay Kumar seems to be revisiting a familiar Bollywood formula with Welcome To The Jungle. The actor has recreated Ek Ucha Lamba Kad, one of the most popular songs from Welcome, giving the franchise another nostalgic callback. This time, the recreated version features Akshay alongside Disha Patani while retaining the playful energy associated with the original.

Song recreations once dominated Bollywood’s promotional strategy, with several iconic tracks returning in refreshed versions for newer films. While the trend has slowed in recent years, Welcome To The Jungle appears to be bringing back that approach by using one of the franchise’s most recognisable musical moments.

The move also adds to the nostalgia factor surrounding the film, which is being positioned as a larger-scale continuation of the comedy franchise. Directed by Ahmed Khan, Welcome To The Jungle features an ensemble cast including Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Arshad Warsi, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Aftab Shivdasani, Jackie Shroff, Raveena Tandon, Jacqueline Fernandez and Disha Patani.
