Telangana Dandora From 1 January 2012

Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) state co-ordinator Pittala Ravinder said that 'Telangana Dandora' programs will be held in the villages in Telangana region from 1st January 2012.

Telangana Tangle: KCR Decided to Boycott Parliament

Peeved at the Center's callous attitude towards solving Telangana tangle, the TRS chief and Mahboobnagar MP, K Chandrasekhar Rao has decided to boycott the remaining days of the winter session of Parliament. "KCR will not sit in a House where not even a debate is allowed on Telangana. He will boycott the session," sources close to Mr. Rao said.

T-protagonists Disrupt 10K Run

The Hyderabad 10K Run, which was held on Sunday, was disrupted for some time by the Telangana protagonists. Around 400 students from Osmania University (OU) and other educational institutions from the city joined the event wearing black badges and shouted pro-Telangana slogans in support of separate statehood demand. The students protest was over "police repression" against them.

Konda Laxman Bapuji T-padayatra in Delhi

Veteran freedom fighter Konda Laxman Bapuji took out a 'Padayatra' at Delhi today (24 November 2011) demanding introduction of Telangana Bill in the Parliament. Bapuji's padayatra has started from India Gate in the morning today and will culminate at the Parliament Bhavan with presenting a memorandum to the Lok Sabha Speaker Ms. Meira Kumar.  

KTR Announces TRS Agenda For Upcoming Assembly Session

The Telangana Rashtra Samithi MLA K T Ramarao, while speaking to the media at TRS Bhavan, condemned the government for arresting Dr. Chekuru Sudhakar under the P D Act. He said that it is highly deplorable that the government has dug into the PD act, which was left forgotten in this democratic society for ages to arrest Dr. Sudhakar.

KCR Left For Delhi to Stall Parliament Session

Telangana Rashtra Samithi chief KCR left this afternoon for New Delhi to attend the winter session of Parliament from November 22 to December 21. Before leaving for Delhi, he spoke to media at his residence.
