Unni Mukundan, the growing popular star of Malayalam Cinema, delivered a huge blockbuster with his brutal film, Marco. Now, he is booked on assault charges on his ex-Manager, Vipin Kumar, at Park Police, Kochi. The actor has denied assaulting anyone and he stated it as propoganda against him. 

Vipin Kumar in his complaint stated that Unni Mukundan came to his flat and assaulted him as he praised Tovino Thomas film, Narivetta. He remarked that Unni Mukundan hates if someone praises other actors in front of him and even though he left working with him, he still has big ego. 

Unni, on the other hand, stated that he did not assault anyone and someone is trying to target him and spread propoganda against him and his rise as an actor. He claimede that he did not have to hit someone just because they praised another actor. He stated that he is a friend of Tovino and his success would never cause envy. 

 

He worked in NTR film Janatha Garage and Anushka Shetty's Bhagamathie in Telugu earlier and has been offered few more films, as per the reports.
