Thrigun becomes emotional talking about his late mother

Directed by Raghu V. Shastry, "Lineman," a Telugu-Kannada bilingual film starring Thrigun, is set to release on March 15th. In anticipation, the film's creators organized a grand pre-release event where the entire team shared their high hopes and confidence in the project. The film is produced by Yateesh Venkatesh and Ganesh Papanna under the banner of Purple Rock Entertainers.

Nandini Reddy remarked on the evolving nature of cinema, where the narrative has taken center stage, becoming the protagonist of its own right. She highlighted "Lineman" as an example of this shift, noting its basis on real incidents and its rural setting. Reddy praised Thrigun's willingness to explore novel ideas and wished the director-producers success with the film.

Shiva Kandukuri commended Thrigun's character, noting his effort to ensure comfort for those around him, and expressed his belief that "Lineman" deserves to be a significant success, potentially a milestone in Thrigun's career, especially with its upcoming release.

Thrigun himself shared insights into the film's thematic core, addressing society's deep dependency on electricity—a resource so vital that its absence for even an hour feels unbearable. The film's story revolves around a town's struggle without electricity for ten days, underlining the taken-for-granted value of such resources. Thrigun also shared a personal note, becoming emotional as he spoke of his late mother, highlighting the personal connections and motivations that fuel the narrative, demonstrating the story's potential to resonate widely upon its release.
