Some of his party TVK workers are facing criminal charges for creating ruckus and lack of proper security for people assembled. Several party workers have been arrested by TN Government with regards to this case. Thalapathy Vijay released a video byte, expressing his anguish over loss of lives and cases.

Thalapathy Vijay, in his video byte said, "CM Sir, I will be at my office or my residence. Everyone knows what happened in Karur. We just visited the place and spoke about people's agony and problems. If you want to showcase any political vengeance, I am right here. Please leave my party workers alone."

He looked visibly disturbed and even let out an anguist filled emotional tears. He looked completely shaken by the incident as he stated, "Never ever in my life, I had to face such a situation." He even stated that they just wanted to talk to people and such unfortunate thing should never ever happened.

Currently, the video is trending all over and fans of Vijay are trending #WeStandWithVijay from the morning. But Government has stated that the investigation will continue and such an incident should never ever occur anywhere. Well, the political drama seems to be heating up in Tamil Nadu.
