South Thriller Remake in Korea?

Mohanlal starrer Malayalam film Drishyam, directed by Jeetu Joseph, was one of the biggest blockbusters in Mollywood. The film was later remade in several languages. The remake versions were also a super hit.

Moreover, it was released directly on Prime Video. The sequel was also remade in several languages. The latest news is that this Indian movie will now be remade in Korean.

The film will be produced by Panorama Studios and Korean production company Anthology Studios. An official announcement regarding this was made at the Cannes Film Festival today.

Significantly, this is the first time that an Indian production company has collaborated with a Korean studio for a film. Will the Indian blockbuster appeal to Korean audiences? We have to wait for a few days to know.
