Happy Birthday Review: Logic less Fun Ride gets boring at times

The only small film that has recently been released with solid hype and good promotion is a "Happy Birthday" film. This film, directed by Ritesh Rana of "Mathu Vadalara" fame, stars Lavanya Tripathi, Satya and Vennela Kishore. And let's find out in the review whether or not this film lived up to the hype.

Story:

So far as the plot is concerned. This film is set in an imaginative world. In this country and around the world, anyone has the legal right to own a firearm. In the same time, a girl named Happy (Lavanya Tripathi) attends a surprise party at a pub. From here, new characters will appear, and situations such as diamond theft will happen. And what exactly is this fictional world? So, what happened here? You must watch this film to find out who that happy person is.

Plus Points:

It must be acknowledged that the plot of this picture is rather intriguing. At first glance, it appears to be a solid interest. Aside from that, Lavanya Tripathi surprised in an interesting and best role of her career in this film.

Lavanya is a hit because of her good acting and stylish looks. Vennela Kishore and comedian Satya, who are seen as the film's highlights from the front, have taken the fun to a new level.

The director has wonderfully demonstrated the more comedic angle in Satya, especially after Mathu vadalara. Satya did an excellent job as well. Gundu Sudarshan has a wonderful role in this film as well. Also, Interval Bang, a comedy about trending trolls, connects with the youth a little better.

Minus Points:

First and foremost, the run duration is critical when developing this type of film; thus far, I've seen some amusing films, but only a handful have been successful with longer run times. However, this film has a longer run duration, but it does not appear to have been successful in keeping the audience entertained for that long.

Also, the gun culture that was highlighted in the trailer teasers prior to the film's release was limited to a minor area. Also, the director attempted a new comedy, but it seemed to have misfired somewhere.

It's fun to watch bits and pieces, but the audience doesn't grasp what's going on at the end. If this film had been projected as linear, it would have reached as far as they hoped if more detail had been provided. And the most of the comedy appears to be just too silly.

Technical category:

All of the graphics in this film are unique, and the set-up complements the background, and the makers have offered high-quality production values. Suresh Sarangam's cinematography is excellent when it comes to the technical team. In addition, Kaala Bhairava has provided his trademark trending tunes and score for this type of film. Dialogues are also effective.

When it comes to the filmmaker Ritesh, who has previously amused with a good comedy with a dark theme, it is exciting that he is making a new effort this time as well, although his effort was not as successful for this film. The audience is irritated by the majority of the confused screenplay, dull tale in many sections, and silly comedies. The humour is okay in some places, and if a better version with more details was shown, the outcome of the film would have been different.

Verdict:

"Happy Birthday" Lavanya Tripathi, Comedian Satya and Vennela Kishore, several actors' performances, especially comedy, are strong. However, the failure to perfect the proper story and duration in the film results in a lot of boredom. With these considerations in mind, you can watch this film once this weekend, if only for a few laughs.
