Pushpa 2 results in IT Raids on Sukumar too

Pushpa 2 The Rule has collected huge Rs.1830 crores gross at the box office. With such a huge collection, the movie has attracted IT officials interest. They started raiding Mythri Movie Makers offices and houses of owners, producers Naveen Yerneni, Ravi Yelamanchali and CEO Cherry as well.


Now, the news reports suggest that IT raids are going on at Sukumar's residence and office. Officials have escorted Sukumar from airport to his house and office, suggest reports. They are trying to investigate the fiscal records of director and producers to set the records straight.


They have been conducting raids at Dil Raju and Mango media owner Ram's house, offices as well. They even took Dil Raju's wife to the bank and searched their lockers. The producer's wife has dismissed them as routine IT checks from officials. But the raids are said to be serious and have been going on for past two days.


After Baahubali 2 film, IT raids have been conducted at producers houses and offices as well. It is shocking to see that they are conducting raids at Sukumar's house too. Maybe it could be because of the director being named as co-producer for Pushpa 2. Let's wait for official statement from the officials.
