Maverick director Prashanth Neel, who created sensation with monumental successes like KGF franchise and Salaar, has undoubtedly elevated Kannada cinema onto the global stage.
Recently his first debut film Ugramm completed it's 10th anniversary and he participated in a show where he reminisced about the movie and shared insights into his favorites.
When asked about his favorite director, Prashanth Neel stated, “My all-time favorite director is Upendra. I’m not saying this because it’s a Kannada show. He is a revolutionary filmmakers and he has top notch storytelling. There is no one like him and his film's.
Like Shhh!, Tharle Nan Maga, and Om, span three different genres, and it’s not easy for a director to handle such diversity, but Upendra accomplished it. Prasanth Neel favourite actor is Amitabh Bachchan and actress is Sridevi.
