Pawan Kalyan is one of the biggest stars of Telugu Cinema. His films have not been living up to the expectations for long time. Now, his OG, They Call Him OG, has released with huge anticipation and buzz. The movie collected Rs.154 crores gross worldwide on first day but it dropped on following days.

Hence, the first weekend collections have been reported as Rs.252 crores+ gross worldwide. Due to pre-festive effect many trade analysts are stating that the movie dropped massively even during Saturday and Sunday. Even on Monday, the movie collections are weak but the makers are expecting Festival days to be huge.

In North America, the movie collected over US$4 Million and it has become the first one for Pawan Kalyan, to collect such high numbers. Holidays and second weekend needs to be huge for it to cross breakeven mark in Telugu States.

Emraan Hashmi, Priyanka Arul Mohan, Prakash Raaj played prominent roles in this Sujeeth directorial. DVV Danayya has produced the movie and director has planned Sujeeth Cinematic Universe connecting Prabhas starrer Saaho with OG.
