Nandamuri Balakrishna, who earlier worked for the film “Dictator” which has been directed by Sriwass, is currently playing the lead role in the upcoming movie “Gauthami Putra Sathakarni” which is being directed by Krish who earlier helmed “Kanche”. Actress Shriya Saran  has been casted to play the female lead and Bollywood dream girl Hema Malini has been casted to essay the role of Gautami. The shooting of the upcoming historical action film, which is being produced by Rajeev Reddy and Saibaba Jagarlamudi, is at final stage and it will be released in the year 2017 on the occasion of Pongal.
