Boyapati Srinu, the director of Akhanda, is back directing NBK for this one too. The combination of NBK and Boya have delivered Simha, Legend, Akhanda and now, they are looking to continue the streak Akhanda 2. Currently, the actor has revealed that Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 date has been locked for this sequel too.

After Pushpa becoming a success, people have been eager to watch Pushpa 2 The Rule and it became a Pan-India blockbuster. It released on 5th December and now, on the same date, Akhanda 2 is set to release. Already, NBK's birthday teaser has created great buzz for the film and makers are anticipating Pan-India level sensation with this.

Samyuktha, Aadhi Pinisetty are playing prominent roles in the film produced by 14 Reels Plus. S Thaman is scoring music for the film. While the movie initially locked for 25th September release, the team had decided to postpone due to delay in shoot and VFX works.
