Veteran actor Mansoor Ali Khan is receiving immense backlash for his sexist and misogynistic comments on star heroine Trisha. In a latest interview, Mansoor said that he was disappointed for not getting a chance to do rape scenes with Trisha in Vijay’s recent blockbuster, Leo.

He said "Just like I did rape sequences in multiple films in the past with Kushboo, Roja & many other actresses, I felt so happy & thought I would have a rape sequence with Trisha in Leo when I was offered a role in the film but sadly there was no such sequence in the film."

Apart from thousands of netizens and film personalities, even Trisha took to X last night and condemned Mansoor’s vulgar comments. Trisha response was fire and lot of netizens trolled Mansoor Ali Khan for the sexist comments.

Trisha wrote on X, "A recent video has come to my notice where Mr Mansoor Ali Khan has spoken about me in a vile and disgusting manner. I strongly condemn this and find it sexist, disrespectful, misogynistic, repulsive and in bad taste. He can keep wishing but I am grateful I never to have shared screen space with someone as pathetic as him and I will make sure it never happens for the rest of my film career as well. People like him bring a bad name to mankind."

Soon after Trisha’s tweet, Leo director Lokesh Kanagaraj also tweeted out his angst over Mansoor’s comments. “Disheartened and enraged to hear the misogynistic comments made by Mr.Mansoor Ali Khan, given that we all worked in the same team. Respect for women, fellow artists and professionals should be a non-negotiable in any industry and I absolutely condemn this behaviour” Lokesh tweeted.
