Lokah makers apologise for unintentional controversy

Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra starring Kalyani Priyadarshan, Naslen, Chandu with cameos from Tovino Thomas and Dulquer Salmaan, has become a huge blockbuster. It is continuously attracting larger number of audiences in UAE GCC, Kerala, Telugu States as well. The movie has taken great opening in Australia and opening in New Zealand, too.


Recently, a controversy broke in Karnataka about a Kannada dialogue. Hearing about the controversy, Wayfarer films headed by Dulquer Salmaan has issued an official apology about the same. The statement reads, "It has come to our attention that a dialogue delivered by one of the characters in our film, Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra, has unintentionally hurt the sentiments of people from Karnataka."


It further reads, "At Wayfarer Films, we place people above everything else. We deeply regret this oversight and assure you that no offense was intended. The dialogue in question will be removed or edited at the earliest. We sincerely apologize for the hurt caused and humbly request you to accept our apology."


Well, the movie has collected Rs.80 crores gross worldwide in 5 days and 6th day collections are also looking huge. In Kerala, on Tuesday collections are trending higher than Monday, looking to collect more than 6 crores. Onam Holidays and weekend will be huge predict box office experts.
