Liger Non theatrical rights sold for Whooping amount

Vijay Deverakonda has completed his work on director Puri Jagannadh's sports drama 'Liger.' The boxing drama, Vijay Deverakonda's first pan-Indian film, stars boxing icon Mike Tyson. Tyson appears in the film as a cameo.
According to sources, Liger's non-theatrical rights in all languages were sold for a whopping Rs.106 crores. The audio rights were only sold for a massive Rs.14 crores. According to reports, the Disney corporation has the rights to all language versions of the film.
This is a record high for a Vijay Deverakonda film. The film's budget has nearly been recovered. 'Liger,' which is set to be released on August 25th, is Puri Jagannadh's first pan-Indian project. The project is being bankrolled by Karan Johar, Charmee, and Puri. The film will do record theatrical business in Vijay Deverakonda’s career.
