The KGF chapter 2 is slated to hit the big screens on April 14. Ahead of the film's release, the film's team is hard at work promoting it all over India with back-to-back press meets and interviews.

During an interview, Prashant Neel said that he is a huge fan of Megastar Chiranjeevi. He continued to shower praises on Chiranjeevi.

Renowned director Prashant Neel stated that he was influenced by Megastar Chiranjeevi because he grew up watching his films. Chiranjeevi is his favourite hero, he says. He claims that the parts in his film that elevate the hero and the mass element scenes are quite good, and he credits them to Chiranjeevi. He stated that the sequences in Chiranjeevi films had greatly influenced him. He stated that the hero in his film aspired to be like Chiranjeevi.

Prashanth Neel's comments towards Chiranjeevi have now gone viral on social media. On the work front, Prashanth Neel is now filming Salaar alongside Radhe Shyam star Prabhas, as well as films starring NTR, Ugramm hero Srimurali, and KGF actor Yash.
