Updated : Oct 22, 2025
Pawan Kalyan delivered his career biggest hit with They Call Him OG, in the direction of Sujeeth. The movie used the stylish frames of Pawan Kalyan and presented him in his best trendy and mass avatar in many areas. Now, director Chandru, who directed and produced Kabzaa, claimed that OG is inspired from his movie.
He stated that at several places in the movie, while watching it he felt like the makers really used the framing from his movie. Kabzaa starred Upendra, Kiccha Sudeep, Shiva Rajkumar, Shriya Saran in leading roles and tried to emulate KGF style gangster drama. But movie flopped big time due to poor narrative.
Claiming the movie to be a huge blockbuster Chandru stated that he is not disappointed with the box office performance as people think it is a flop but actually, it became a huge blockbuster. He announced second part but that movie never went on to sets.
Sujeeth, clearly stated that he is not inspired from any films but he always wanted to showcase his idol Pawan Kalyan in a never-seen-before way. Chandru is getting trolled by Telugu Movie lovers for his statements and they are stating that there have been many gangster films with such stylish frames and Kabzaa is least among them.
