Akhil Akkineni has been one of those actors who works hard yet fails in choosing a good script. He transformed his body to build a six pack and look like a beast for his previous film, Agent. The film became another huge disaster and the actor took time to announce his next. 

There have been reports about a big movie with a new director but the film did not go on to the sets. Now, reports about a movie with Puri Jagannadh are doing rounds. The reports suggest that the young actor has always had a liking towards Puri and recently, they both met and discussed a plotline. 

For now, the actor has asked Puri Jagannadh to complete the script and they are discussing on the probability of making it in quick time also, it seems. Akhil needs a hit and he wants someone to project him in such a way that the negativity of his previous films dies down. 

Puri Jagannadh has the capacity to re-imagine and present heroes but he is also struggling to find a success at the box office. Akhil has to compel any other big director to make a film with him, as their look is towards big stars with Pan-India aspirations. 

He is not confident to go with a first time director at this point say the reports. But Puri Jagannadh can transform his look and present him differently. If it clicks, the film can do wonders for his confidence to go for even bigger films according to his ambition. Well, if this rumor is true or not, we have to wait and see.
