Increased ticket prices been a blessing or a curse?

Increased ticket prices been a blessing or a curse?

For the last few days, big movies have been buzzing at the Tollywood box office. However, because these films are being made on a massive budget, the government is abruptly hiking ticket prices during the film's release. Many people believe that this will keep the filmmakers from losing money. But, in reality, have the increased ticket prices been a blessing or a curse for the film?

The corona effect turned the average person's life upside down. The cart is now counting back to life. At a time like this, how can an ordinary person, who is already struggling with rising commodity prices, spend money on entertainment?

Will the film industry, which has overlooked this simple reasoning, shoot a string of films with high ticket prices? Yes, I mean getting a ticket on the day of release for a star-studded film used to be quite difficult. This is because the ticket price was standard at the time. However, things have changed.

Isn't it more expensive for the typical moviegoer to see a movie with higher ticket prices? Even fans of the respective star heroes do not wish enter the theatres. This has resulted in huge budget films receiving little attention or flopping at the box office.

Given how much the situation has changed, it is easy to see how much the impact of movie ticket prices on the film. Once upon a time, a Star Hero movie release meant a noisy atmosphere at theatre for three days. Houseful boards crammed the theatres. But now not for three days even on the first day no common audience is going towards the cinema theater.

They are eager to wait until ticket prices fall or until OTT is released. It is high time for producers to consider lowering ticket prices. Otherwise, every film will fail at the box office.
