Balagam, directed by comedian-turned-director Venu Yeldandi and featuring Priyadarshi and Kavya Kalyanram in the lead roles, created sensation in theatres and OTT. The film, which was shot entirely in Telangana, has won over 40 international awards at various film festivals, and it has now added 2 more prestigious awards to the list.

 

The talented actor Priyadarshi won the Best Actor award and the brilliant actor Kethiri Sudhakar Reddy won the Best Supporting actor award at Swedish International Film Festival 2023. This is a huge achievement and also a proud moment for the entire team of Balagam.

 

In 2021, Fahadh Faasil's Joji won this prestigious award and another best film Nayattu from Kerala won this award last year. The team of Balagam is ecstatic on winning this prestigious award.

 

The movie also stars Venu, Muralidhar Goud, Jayaram, Roopa, Racha Ravi, and others in pivotal roles. Harshith Reddy and Hanshitha Reddy produced the film on a limited budget, and Bheems Ceciroleo composed the music for this emotional family drama.
